Biography
Ranting Details is a weblog written by Matthew Murphy, a dancer formerly with American Ballet Theatre. Created in April 2006 as a way to share his travels with the world, it quickly became a way to document his artistic explorations, pop culture ramblings, inner thoughts and much more. Matthew is a freelance writer and photographer living in New York City. His writing has been published in Dance Magazine, Movmnt, Dance Spirit, and Playbill.
He recently became a freelance photographer for The New York Times. His photos have also been published in Dance Spirit Magazine, Time Out New York, and New York Magazine.
