On top of creating his own spectacular video blogs, my friend Andrew always finds something entertaining on YouTube. This latest discovery is one of my current favorites. Even though I don't watch much on the Food Network, this clip from MadTV is frighteningly realistic. Enjoy!
The granddaddy of all kitchen spoofs is when Dan Ackroyd on Saturday Night Live took on Julia Child, where she also cuts her finger to ribbons fighting with a chicken. Here's the transcript; maybe you can find the video somewhere:

Of course, these spoofs are not so far from the real thing. If you ever get a chance to watch a bizarre female on Food TV named Sandra Lee, you'd hope she's doing a comedy act 'cause she sure is a hoot.

So long as there is breath in me, that long will I persist. For now I know one of the greatest principles of success; if I persist long enough I will win.
