Oh i know quite a few people who have done those 10-day lemonade diet/master cleanse type things. If it's any encouragement, they all felt awesome and detoxed afterwards. Though apparently you feel worse before you feel better. Stay strong!

You are truly an inspiration Matt. I can't imagine going what you are going through. And this Butterfly book you are talking about sounds really good. I just joined an all female book club (and most of the women are Mo's so very conservative), do you think they would enjoy that book? Everything I want to reccommend to read is too intense for this crowd!

Larry

Bauby, as you probably know, died shortly after finishing his book. Another severely disabled person, born with cerebral palsy and unable to speak, is young Irish writer Christopher Nolan, whose semi-autobiogaphical "Under the Eye of the Clock" is well worth reading, with a gift for beautiful Joycean prose.

Still, the very thought of consuming all that cayenne and lemonade . . .

Pippin

Good luck. This must be killing you. Stay strong. But I did want to say that I thought we read Siddhartha in 10th grade. I thought we were in the same English class then. Maybe not, but it is rather appropriate either way.

Brantley

This is prolly the thousandth time you've heard this, but keep trying. I've gone through the whole mono thing, and as a dancer, it killed me. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I promise.

Sending positive vibes your way in your continued recovery along with the link to Playbill Radio (Broadway tunes 24/7): http://www.playbillradio.com/

I've been wanting to go on that detox plan for a while. Do you happen to have the recipe handy?

Btw, I randomly stumbled upon your blog during a search of a Clorox Wipes image (random, I know), and I'm loving your writing style. :)

Cheers,

M

Thanks for the support everyone!

Thenny, I'll try to find my sheet with the exact amounts required to make the lemonade, although googling "lemonade master cleanse fast" should yield some results.

I think that is possibly the most random way anyone has ever come to the blog, but welcome nonetheless! SPREAD THE RANT. I think I remember the picture I took of the clorox wipes. It was right when I got my camera. Surprised it came up though on a search! Hilarious.

Natalie. I think that everyone would enjoy "Diving Bell." It's a great story about the human spirit and a SUPER fast read.

The lemonade master cleanser

This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs
to be appreciated by everyone.
