Wow. You are so brave. I would be way too affraid of the pain. But it looks wonderful!

M

Thanks Nat! After a few days I'm finally getting used to it and LOVE IT. The swelling has gone down a bit too, so it doesn't look as puffy.

To be honest, it's wasn't that painful. I anticipated horrible pain and didn't really flinch. I felt TERRIBLE (health wise) that day as well, so I actually was worried that I was going to pass out. I pretty much sat completely still for the 10 minutes it took. All of my friends were waiting for some dramatic reaction for the camera, but I was just trying to sit still :) I wanted the lines to be straight!

Excellent design! I must get a bip/bon shirt now. You looked so calm throughout.

Maaaaaatttt!! The tat is awesome! There's something about the red line I love so much. Umm can I just comment on how much I enjoy that you put Jordin Sparks on a soundtrack with Vampire Weekend and Santogold, too funny!

M

M@! You know it! Totally a battery/totally old school Nintendo/ totally BIP/BON! All of those are fine by me :)

And Miriam, I think the video kind of sums up my musical taste. I can go indie Vampire weekend to delicious trashy jordin sparks in the blink of an eye. LOVE IT!!!!

that's awesome. that's also the place (except on the other arm) where I plan to geta tattoo of something ive designed. I think im going to get about three tattoos, but that one will be the last because i still have no idea what i want to have my design be...

emma

love the tat matt! i think we could all use a little bip/bon tat to remind us to just be mellow and enjoy life :)

"And Miriam, I think the video kind of sums up my musical taste."

But no Shostakovich?

I once contemplated getting a small tattoo on the underside of my fourth right toe, but I decided it might be too conspicuous.
