I had the pleasure of traveling to Jacob's Pillow yesterday for the first time to photograph Avi Scher and Dancers for a program called "Inside/Out." Unfortunately, due to weather, the dancers were forced to perform in a studio (when they were supposed to be on the glorious stage you see in the last picture), but that didn't stop us from running out between downpours to snap a few shots!
The last picture is incredible!

Really like your line-up shot. I am continually amazed at how you get some unique emotional tone from all the people in a photo. Wonderful.

Wow, those are great. I love the guy in the background of the third picture, who you caught in midair. You make me want to go to see some dance!

I love these photos which remind me of my many, many wonderful trips to the Pillow in the 80s and 90s. The outdoor stage is a very special place to dance, but the entire Festival site is simply drenched in the history and beauty of dance in America. Avi's dancers are remarkable, and so are the pictures.
Great to see you yesterday and I hope you will post some pictures from Avi's studio
event as well.
