The only disappointment of my stay in Montana so far has been the lack of time/energy I've had with regard to shooting. Fortunately I had the chance to take my camera out of its hiding place when I made a pit stop in Butte, MT last weekend during the International Folk Festival. Despite being more populated than ever due to the event, Butte maintained its run-down, abandoned feel almost as well as a ghost town. I'd love to have the chance to stop by again and do a few photos with people, but for the time being I was happy to shoot some of the buildings: remnants of a time when Butte was the most populated city in all of Montana.
