It seems like almost every photo assignment I take these days is a new adventure. As I work at expanding my portfolio I have found that I often have to let go of what my vision is and work within the confines of what the client wants; rarely is this more true than when I'm shooting headshots.
It's been a fun challenge trying to keep some of my personal flavor infused within those types of shots, where dramatic angles and unexpected perspectives aren't usually desired. Fortunately I don't get too bent out of shape when I have someone as beautiful as Patrice to shoot. We did a couple of test shots the other day for her modeling portfolio and kept the focus rather straightforward to showcase her beauty. Here are a few of the (unretouched) results!
